Management has been forced to open up negotiations, this has only occurred because union members took action by signing a petition. However, it appears that QML management has a trick up their sleeve, they are now moving to split your union agreement.
History shows us that QML staff have only ever got better wages and conditions by working together one group. When we are united we can ensure our voice at work is heard and listened to. This is a strategy to divide staff in order to enable management to water down your conditions and rights at work.
As QML Staff you have a decision to make! Either we can do nothing and let management water your conditions down and not respect our hard work or we can stand up for each other by building a stronger union that takes a stand to protect your working conditions. At this meeting, we will be discussing and outlining the next steps for the agreement campaign.
